- Where is the Cake Show being held? This year's Cake Show is being held at the beautiful Texas Star Event Center located at 11810 Manchaca Rd, Austin, Tx. The event center is located behind Austin Party Central.
- How much will it cost to attend? Saturday's entry fee will be $5 and will include informal demonstrations, competitions, viewing cake entries, access to specialty vendors, raffle drawings, award ceremony & event program. Sunday's entry fee will be $2 and will include cake viewing only. Saturday entry is included with your registration if you are a competitor. Children under 16 are FREE!
- Will there be any events for children? Yes! Children are encouraged to enter the cake competition. In addition we will be having an Easter Bunny House building demonstration. This will be a hands-on class and will include the gingerbread house kit for a small fee of $5.
- I'm coming from out of town, where should I stay? We have negotiated a group discount rate with Marriott Courtyard South. The rate is $94 a night for up to 4 occupants. Just mention you're with All in One Bakeshop.
- The Rules seem to indicate that Sculpted Cakes must be 100% cake. Does that mean I can't use cereal or internal structure? Not at all. You may use cereal, internal structure & modeling chocolate, however, the majority of your entry must be made from cake.
