Vendors
It is our pleasure to invite you to Austin, Texas, home of the 4th Annual Capital Confectioners Cake & Sugar Art Show and Competition. Our 2008 Show will feature Competition Entries, Showcase Demonstrations, Real-time Competitions, Celebrity Guests, Free Demonstrations, an Award Ceremony, Raffle Drawings, Specialty Vendors (like YOU!) and so much more! The 2008 Show will be open from Saturday, 23 February through Sunday, 24 February.
Booths: Vendor booths will be 10' X 10' and will include a 6' draped table with 2 chairs. The fee for the vendor booth will be a flat $100 for the weekend plus a donation of your choice to the Raffle Drawings. The Capital Confectioners Club must receive your completed form, fees and raffle donation(s) by January 11th, 2008. Last year's Show had over 2000 visitors and this year's Show is expected to be bigger and better than ever! This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your products and your company to the very people most likely to use them; Sugar Artists! Booths will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis so be sure to sign up early for the best spots. The event is open to the public from 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday and 9 AM and 4 PM on Sunday. Vendor set-up will begin on Saturday from 6 AM to 10 AM and tear-down will begin after 4 PM on Sunday.
Donations: If you are unable to attend the Show, we would be delighted if you would consider donating an item for one of our Raffle Drawings. All vendor donations will be recognized throughout the Show within our printed handouts and advertisements, and we will highlight your company and your generous donation on our website with a link to your own site where applicable.
Celebrities: We are pleased to confirm this year's celebrity guest stars will be: Bronwen Weber, Executive Pastry Chef, Frosted Art in Dallas, Tx, Nicholas Lodge, Chef, author and co-founder of International Sugar Art Collection, and Earlene Moore, renowned sugar artist and owner of Earlene's Cakes in Lubbock, TX.
